The well-known event “Lignano in Fiore”, which held in Hemingway Park in Lignano Pineta in these days, sees the participation for Saturday 7th of May also of Junior Park.

During a festival dedicated especially to children, could not miss the joy of the park of Lignano Sabbiadoro, which, unable to mover its attractions in the green Hemingway Park, has chosen for another nice alternative: a trip with the little train from Lignano Pineta to the playground in Lignano Sabbiadoro and back. Saturday 7th of May in fact, the little coloured train of Junior Park will be present at 3 pm in Hemingway Park and it will carry free all those who want to have fun on the rides for an afternoon. This service is useful, because parents can go to another park and come back with their children without having to move car. The success of “Lignano in Fiore” is so great that, especially during the weekends, it is very difficult to find parking places near the park.

Children can in this way have fun in Hemingway Park with the shows and animations suggested by organizers, besides running safe in a large space, and then continue to enjoy themselves in the amusement park in Lignano Sabbiadoro with its attractions: Jeeps, canoes, small motorboats in the lake, inflatable slides and much more.

Also here, all rides are located in a green park with trees that offer shadow, flowery beds, meadows with benches and tables, small lakes with fishes, swans and ducks. Besides to spend an afternoon of fun, from Junior Park it is possible also to make a stroll in the pedestrian centre of Lignano Sabbiadoro, where shops, ice-parlours and pizzerias follow one another offering amusement and very good products. With a short walk it is then possible to reach also the beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

The position of the amusement park is ideal for all tourists, that spend holiday in the more central area of the seaside resort, because it is possible to reach it through the pedestrian centre, while coming back from the beach and also with the buses, which stop right beside the main entrance.

Saturday 7th of May it will be easy to reach it also from the Hemingway Park in Lignano Pineta thanks to the small train, which at 3 pm leaves from there. The service is completely free and it is a chance not to miss to spend an amusing afternoon in the parks of Lignano.

From Saturday 14th of May, Junior Park in Lignano Sabbiadoro is open all days from 10.30 am to 12 pm with its attractions, bars, snack-points and the fast food.

Also the Junior Park ended its activity for this year.

Lignano Sabbiadoro: amusement park open until end of September

Summer 2010 has been rich in successes for the Junior Park in Lignano Sabbiadoro: thousands of children with their parents had fun in the attractions of the park during the day and the evening and they spent pleasant moments thanks to the animation team.

During the evening stroll on the pedestrian zone of Lignano Sabbiadoro, a lot of tourists took advantage of the presence of the park to have fun with their children in a green environment, with benches and stalls where eat an ice-cream, cotton candy or drink a cool beverage.
In the evening Junior Park is rich in coloured lights and it becomes the dream of the children, while during the day it is a very good place where stop for a rest and refresh itself under the shadow of the big trees before and after the beach. The large parking and the stop of many city line buses in front of the park’s entrance made it easy to reach from the entire seaside resort.

Now that September is ending, even the park begins to close, but certainly until the end of the month it will be available for the amusement of the children. A nice sunny weekend invites people to stroll in Lignano and enjoy some warm rays of sunshine before winter. Especially families take advantage of the weekend of good weather to make a stroll on the pedestrian zone, drink a coffee, but above all to entertain the children outdoors.

Lignano Sabbiadoro is made of 3 areas that offer tourists different ways to spend the holiday on the beach.

Lignano Riviera is the youngest area and it is located on the west, on the last stretch of the river Tagliamento and it is the right place for quiet holiday in harmony with nature. Villas and apartments are hidden by the green of the pine wood and the little traffic and the several well-developed bike paths allow to make excursions by bike.
