Lignano Sabbiadoro: amusement park open until end of September

Summer 2010 has been rich in successes for the Junior Park in Lignano Sabbiadoro: thousands of children with their parents had fun in the attractions of the park during the day and the evening and they spent pleasant moments thanks to the animation team.

During the evening stroll on the pedestrian zone of Lignano Sabbiadoro, a lot of tourists took advantage of the presence of the park to have fun with their children in a green environment, with benches and stalls where eat an ice-cream, cotton candy or drink a cool beverage.
In the evening Junior Park is rich in coloured lights and it becomes the dream of the children, while during the day it is a very good place where stop for a rest and refresh itself under the shadow of the big trees before and after the beach. The large parking and the stop of many city line buses in front of the park’s entrance made it easy to reach from the entire seaside resort.

Now that September is ending, even the park begins to close, but certainly until the end of the month it will be available for the amusement of the children. A nice sunny weekend invites people to stroll in Lignano and enjoy some warm rays of sunshine before winter. Especially families take advantage of the weekend of good weather to make a stroll on the pedestrian zone, drink a coffee, but above all to entertain the children outdoors.

To satisfy this need, Junior Park offers families the opportunity to spend a few hours of fun with its attractions. In this way, besides the beach where run and play, children find also the merry-go-round of the summer in the park: small train, inflatable games, Formula One track, pool of balls and much more.

The Junior park is one of the few amusement parks of Lignano that remains open beyond the end of tourist season in mid September. In this way the park offers the chance also to tourists of ending season to enjoy a very important service, that is the fun for families, especially for children. Open shops, cafés and amusement park encourage people to spend some hours in the city centre of Lignano, in search of tranquillity and fresh air.

And during the winter closure, the Junior Park continues to work to improve its interior construction, the attractions and the snack points and also to suggest new rides and animation activities for the next summer season. Piazza Fontana offers the chance to live an exciting New Year’s Eve in Lignano: as the midnight draws near, the main square of the seaside resort crowds itself of adults and children, that can get into the bed later!

In a happy and exciting atmosphere, meet friends and make new acquaintances, while on the stage follow each other musicians and DJs. During the evening increase people and celebrations in the square, until the collective toast to welcome the arrival of the new year.

After dances and toasts in the square and in Terrazza a Mare, all guest of the New Year’s Eve in Lignano can go to the beach and enjoy the fireworks. The fireworks show is always very impressive, especially when it snows, like the last year. A snowfall began shortly before midnight covered the dunes of the Lignano beach and it accompanied the fireworks and the celebrations until the morning in a very suggestive atmosphere.
